You should select your make and model. If you do not have a printer driver showing up in your options to select you need to download a printer driver from here.

The Windows Vista driver will also work for Windows 7. Select the version of your Windows operating system, i.e Windows Vista (32-bit) or Windows Vista (64-bit).

If you do not know the version of your operating system, open Control Panel, click on System and look for System type.

Download the available driver and note the location where you save it. Use the add a printer function and if necessary point to the driver file location if the install program can not find it.

the first thing to do here is uninstall all printer drivers as you might have a conflict, then reinstal the vista drivers and start from there

If you navigate to lexmarks driver site you will see the following :
"The Vista drivers available on the Lexmark website do not contain the All-In-One Center. They are minimum drivers. Although the scan drivers are shipped with the web package, they cannot be used by the All-In-One Center since it is not included. Please use Windows Scanners and Cameras or Photo Gallery for Scanning."

The All-In-One Center is the software necessary for that

not just the driver, you need to get the software fo rthe printer in order to fax and san. they are different function aside from print.

The model number you have mentioned seems incomplete, however what you can do is that you may go to the following link and download the latest drivers for you pinter for windows vista.

If the Vista Option is unavailable under the driver downloads for this model, it means that the printer is not compatiable with the Vista.

1. Go to the Lexmark Find Drivers/Product Selector page.
2. Enter your printer's model number (like X3550 or whatever) under "Search by Model", and click the Search button.
3. Select your OS from the dropdown (Vista).
4. Click Download Now.
5. If you're asked to Save or Run, choose to Run (it keeps you from having to go find the file and double-click it later).

really sorry to inform lexmark's website also does not mention that there is a driver for this printer for win vista... its not listed as compatiable.. so my best guess is its not compatiable on vista...
