I am not sure what fuse to put in it, when I got it it had a 500 MA Ceramic 5x 20 250v Fuse blown; but when I replace it with the same it automatically pops. The board of the power supply has written on it...

On the body of the fuse or on the circuit board there will be a suffix T or F next to the value.
T stands for Time delay or slowblow. If its marked F it means fast acting fuse.
Now after replacing the correct fuse if it still pops you have a short circuit and it is drawing high current, so the popping. Get professional help or you will do further damage.

Mate.Before you let ANYONE pull the engine apart,get the timing checked.I am only going on your description but it sound like the motor is "knocking".It means the timing is wrong and is a cheap fix.Hope this helps

Brookstone Wafer-thin CD with MP3 player circuit failure...why?

sure, ur power amp section is completely shorted. meaning it is totally fried. get it repaired. it was a stupid idea to jump the fuse. u cud fry the whole thing!!! i sincerely hope it is only the power amp. if it is more than that u have only urself to blame. remember looks can be deceptive.

No power to Staples mailmate

There is a 10mm 5amp @ 250v fuse on the main board that is probally blown . I unsoldered mine and soldered a pigtail fuse holder with a convient sized 5 amp fuse inside in its place . The shredder is not too bad to take apart , the head comes apart from the body of the shredder .Turn it upside down and you will see 6 or 7 phillips screws .Once these are removed the head assembly opens up and you will see the circuit board which is held in place by 2 phillips screws. A quick ohm meter test will reveal the fuse condition. It was an easy fix just MAKE SURE YOU KEEP THE UNIT UNPOWERED while you work on it or its unassembled.

PC power supply fuse - T6.3h 250v engraved on end

T = time delay (slow blow)
6.3A = 6.3 Amperes maximum load
H = HRC - high rupture current (as you specified a ceramic fuse)
250V = 250V AC rated

other letters you may see
FF = ultra fast blow
F = fast blow
M = medium blow
TT = very slow blow
L = low blow current
H = high blow current (glass package)
S = sand filled

Replacement of fuses on Philips 37PF7320A 37 in. HDTV-Ready LCD

Is the fuse in the plug okay?

If the fuses are not blowing when you are turning the tv on, this suggests that the PSU primary side is okay.

Since you have opened the TV up, I would suggest probing around with a multimeter however I do not want to let you harm yourself or the TV.

Look for any:

Phillips 17 in, tv/vcr combo

the problem should not be the fuse if its the sound problem, i am having the same problem with the same tv and im an electronics tech and i have yet to see whats exactly wrong. but if you do want to try a new fuse its a 4A 250v fuse but the base where the plug connects into. if i find what the exact problem is i will come back on and tell you of my findings.

6.3a slow-blow 125v fuse

It will work, the amp rating is most important, 125v / 250v does
not matter.......note: if you blow the fuse again, the TV will
need service.................T.
