Possibly not they stoped using them in the late 80's

Why is it not heating up.

If it runs, but does no heat, any of the following could be defective:
High voltage rectifier
Thermal sensor (on some units)
High voltage transformer

Monogram microwave will not shut off unless you open the door

electronics - bad ckt, relay or triac.
switches on door are in series with the triac or relay so they r the last thing in line.

There is a semiconductor device called a triac, if food is warm the microwave is not running at full power because the triac is defective.

The microwave wont respond to the timer. It keeps cooking unless you open the door. After the timer runs out it seems like it cuts off but there is still a low buzzing sound and it is still cooking. Have...

low buzzing can be a power relay or a (solid-state)
triac which both supply power in their own right to the power transformer to operate the magnetron tube,even though you say it quits cooking when you open the door,i would still check the micro-switches in the door for proper alignment and operation, because it can be a door switch mis-alignment or a leaking triac still supplying power to the unit

Nothing turns on. replaced blown fuse.still nothing!

it could be a thermal fuse inside the unit or the thermal cutout on the mag tube isn't closing again after overheating, or possibly the triac or main power relay
