FP, or Freeze Protection, is a feature found on some air conditioning (AC) units that helps to prevent the unit from freezing up during cold weather. If your AC unit is in FP status, it means that it has detected a potential freezing condition and has shut off the cooling function to protect the unit.To get your AC unit out of FP status and into heating mode, you will need to take the following steps: Check the thermostat settings. Make sure that the thermostat is set to "Heat" and that the desired temperature is set to a value above the current room temperature.Check the outdoor unit. Make sure that the outdoor unit is not covered by snow or ice, as this can cause the unit to freeze. If the unit is covered, remove the snow or ice to allow proper airflow. Check the air filter. A dirty air filter can cause the unit to freeze, so make sure that the air filter is clean. If the filter is dirty, clean or replace it as needed. Check the refrigerant levels. Low refrigerant levels can cause the unit to freeze, so it's important to make sure that the refrigerant levels are at the proper level. If the refrigerant levels are low, you may need to have a professional technician add more refrigerant to the system. Reset the unit. If you have tried the above steps and the unit is still in FP mode, you may need to reset the unit. To do this, turn off the power to the unit and then turn it back on after a few minutes.
Have you tried any of the reset commands?
Try these....please let me know the result:
Method 1
1. Unit power must be ON and unit must be in STOP mode.
2. Press and hold [CH UP] and [CH DOWN] ON THE UNIT for over five seconds. The unit will turn off.
3. Press [DVD POWER] to turn the unit on.
Method 2
1. Press [STOP, TUNE MODE] on the main unit and [>10] on the remote control at the same time for about 3 seconds until the message "Initialized" disappears from the television screen.
2. Turn the unit off and on again.
Method 3
While the unit is off, press and hold [VOLUME +], [OPEN/CLOSE] and [POWER] on the main unit at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
Method 4
While the main unit is on, press [POWER] on the main unit for more than 4 sec. (All the indicators will blink twice when the main unit is reset.)
Another possibility is to unplug the power cord......wait 30 minutes and plug it back in, possibly repeating the steps above. (Method 1 should reset the unit but maybe trying each of them may be necessary until it is reset.
The message appears to be one that displays when the unit is in a setup mode.
Epson Workforce 630 has two paper loading areas. One at the bottom and one at the top, back of printer. Make sure you set the printer to correct paper source, or just make sure paper is loaded in both trays to see if it starts taking paper in either one.
Hi sounds like the remote may be in the wrong mode , you can scan channels into the sky box or the TV/combo. Make sure you are scanning them into the box not the combo.
This recycling/rebooting into this screen is normally caused an error (hardware or software). You MUST turn off - Automatic Restart to see the error message. Power down your laptop. Press the power button to turn-on laptop. Start pressing the F8 key immediately AFTER the DELL logo screen and BEFORE the windows screen. You SHOULD be brought to the same screen as you described above but with an additional option: TURN-OFF automatic restart. Select this option and press ENTER. Let laptop cycle and you should see blue background screen with white letters giving you information.
Please provide the ERROR message on screen BEFORE we can advise you any further.
that message means, you have the unstated PC, set to a super high resolution, that is totally ******* on this old screen,
buy a newer screen,
or change the resolution.
no PC stated , at all. model , is it HP?
no OS stated, if XP hit F8 and run safe mode and lower the resolution to 1024x768.
only these work,,never higher.
1024 x 768 / 60 Hz
1024 x 768 / 70 Hz
1024 x 768 / 75 Hz
800 x 600 / 60 Hz
800 x 600 / 72 Hz
800 x 600 / 75 Hz
640 x 480 / 60 Hz
640 x 480 / 72 Hz
640 x 480 / 75 Hz
832 x 624 / 75 Hz
720 x 400 / 70 Hz
You have set a resolution that is too high or incompatible with your monitor.
I assume you are using Windows.
Turn the computer on and immediately keep pressing F8 on the keyboard until the 'Windows Advanced Options Menu' appears.
Use the Up and Down keys to select 'Enable VGA Mode'
Press enter and your screen will work again when windows starts.
Now go to the display properties and click 'Advanced' then click the 'Monitor' tab and tick 'Hide modes that this monitor cannot display'
OK everthing and now you should be able to adjust the resolution without getting a blank screen again!
Good luck and come back to comment soon.
