After years of flawless performance, my camera suddenly has a blurred image on the display and the colors aren't correct. I'm not aware of any change of setting made but it could have happened by accident. DSC-T1.

Having problems with quality of pictures taken inside....they all have a "yellow" color tint to them. Any suggestions? Camera takes excellent outside pictures.

Check your white balance setting. Indoor incandescent bulbs have a yellow color that we normally aren't aware of but shows up in a photo. Usually, when you have your camera set on auto white balance, the camera can correct for it but if it can't, you can set the white balance for tungsten/indoor light.

Photos are blurred.

Blurred images are caused by several reasons: motion due to camera shake, use of slow shutter speeds and failure of the camera to focus correctly.

Slow shutter speeds

When light is low, wide apertures and slow shutter speeds will be selected automatically by the camera. Most people can't take blur-free, hand-held shots when the shutter speed is under 1/60th of a second.

Cameras that have optical Image Stabilization help but even IS has its limits. Increase room lighting, increase the ISO setting or use a tripod, or use a combination of all three.

Blurred images or misfocus

If an image is blurred due to camera shake, the blur will appear throughout the entire image. If parts of an image are in focus, and others are not, you've misfocused.

Hp color laserjet 1600 copies have a blurred image

This sounds like a registration problem.

Use the menu (on the printer) to print antest page AND a configuration/information page.

Look (critically) at the alignment of the seperate coloure Yellow Magenta Cyan. You will probably find that these are out of aligmnent across the page.

The cause of this, is that the printer can't perform a calibration properly (printer probably takes a long time when calibrating too) and is usually down to failure of one of the sensors on the transfer belt.

Sometimes you can clean these and solve the problem, but often is a failure of the component itself. Thes are NOT available as a spare part, and the repair to correct this would need a replacement transfer belt.

Transfer belt replacement in this printer is quite an involved task, though it is within the capabilities of someone with reasonable mechanical aptitude.

Blurred and pink pictures

CCD sensor faulty ( it starts with 'noisy' picture and ends with no image whatsoever ). The sensor should be replaced free of charge since properly manufactured one should last you 15 + years.

Canon Powershot A75 blurred LCD display

It sounds like the focus element in your lens is not functioning properly. Does the lens retract completely when you turn off the camera? When you push the button does the camera attempt to focus the image? If you do not see any change in the image when you push the button, and do not hear any sound - then your focus motor is either jammed or malfunctioning. David Millier Advance Camera Repair

Blurred purple image

The doe problem go away if you bang on the side of the camera? there is a known issue with the CCD sensor on certin model cameras that after a few years the glue or somthing dries up inside the sensor and it developes a bad connection. Canon has admit they know about this problem and they will fix them free of charge and pay shipping both ways. Sometimes users can bang on the side of the camera and the camera will work properly again but not for very long. I cant see your display so im not sure if thats it or not but the problem has this purple blackish symptom. Go to the canon usa webpage and then search around for your camera model and if there is a known issue it will say on their site. Then there are ways to contact them on their site.
