Re: pin layout ms9158e

Yap you can see the lay out on the user manual. like PIn 1-3 or 1-2 like that and the mother board will show which one is the 1st pin.

if you dont have a manual then you need to download it from the manufacturer's site of the motherboard in the download or support section.

I need to know if the Intel Desktop Board D865GBF/D865GLC on the main power connector, in the pin 18 have -5vdc or NC.

Here is the pin-out for the power connector:
These connections are common for all the motherboards, so there is no reason for looking for intel motherboard's layout. If the power connector has 24 pins (the new motherbords) the 18th pin is "com", id the connector has 20 pins (the old motherboards) the 18th pin is "nc". The Intel D865GBF motherboard has a power connector for 20 pins and a separate one 20 pin connector, here is the layout:
In case you'd like to have the motherboard's product guide here is an official link for you to download it.

'Turn off power and reinstall the jumper in normal mode'

go to this site to visualize the motherboard layout as i'm about to describe below. Refer to pages 12-13

Note: Make sure to shut down your PC and unplug from power source.

- Look for Bios Setup configuration jumper block (the one marked X on the motherboard layout)
- You will see 3 pins with a jumper connecting 2 of the 3 pins.
- Ensure that the jumper is connected to pins 1-2 to set it to Normal mode

please refer to page 53 of the pdf file to check the pin configuration of the jumper block.

Electric on motherboard

Yes. usually. Most boards have pins missing. The board layout is for all boards, not all models. That is the reason that sometimes pins are missing. You will see layouts for other items(options) missing also.  Ido not have A drawing or picture of your particular board  though.

Pinning layout for Micro Star WS 6330 motherboard

Hi Hunter45,
Download the manual from MSI, click on the link below.
MSI K7T Pro MS-6330
You'll need winrar or winzip to uncompress the manual & you'll find there are 5, *.pdf files rather than just one for the hole manual.
File name: 6330-1.PDF will show the MB layout. Page 1-4.
You ca see the 2 USB pins to the left of JMDM1.

JFP1 close up;

Open file 6330-2.pdf, page 2-22 for the pin layout for the MB USB's.
If you need more information, post here.

Good luck Hunter45!

Front panel pin layout. I need the front panel pin layout especially for the HD IDE active LED.

Trial n Error is your best bet on the control pins panel there are two rows, with the power plugged in,with a screwdriver touch adjacent two pins together at a time starting with the top row then the bottom row, when you touch the right two pins your motherboard will power-up, then place the power-switch plug onto those two pins (the writing on the plug facing innwards toward the mainboard) the two pins for the reset switch and 99.9% of the time located directly next to the power switch or directly above the the power pins on the other row. For the LED lights you will have to just try the different pins and the Power LED will remain on as long as your mboard is on, but to find the LED pins for the Harddrive you will have to plug in your HDD and then when it powers up try the pins and the led for the HDD will flicker on-off, that would be the correct one. Dont worry your mboard will not be damaged by this in any way. Goodluck and let me know how you go. Thanks
