I have an ACER Aspire 6530G and since the purchase day I have not been able to properly watch streamed videos on the net. I can play DVDs and movies from my hard drive without any problems, but when I stream on YouTube or any other streaming website I get choppy image. The lag in the image increases as I increase the size of the video (thus full screen renders me with the worst frame rate). I HAVE all the latest drivers, and codecs. I have reinstalled every possible thing I could reinstall. That includes flash, java, divx, my videocard's driver, etc. I HAVE a fast connection, that's absolutely NOT IT. I have switched between IE, Firefox, and Google Chrome. No difference. I have considered that it might be a problem with my video card, but video playback works fine if I play DVD's or mp4's or mpeg's. I've even tried lowering my desktop resolution, installing alternative codecs (which really, have nothing to do with this flash related problem I'm having) I have tried voodoo.. prayer.. googling.. screaming... crying.. kicking the neighbor's cat... nothing works. I run on windows Vista, but I'm not the only one, yet, the only one with this problem it seems... I have increased virtual memory, decreased it, allowed windows to manage it for me.. etc.. I have 4 GB DDR2 ram and an ATI Radeon HD3650 with 512 MB, one would think it should handle simple youtube media. There's a nice sticker on my computer that says FULL HD 1080 Playback, very encouraging, where are the results? I'm desperate, I'm begging.. I'm hoping I'm just an idiot and the solution is way easier than I'd ever dreamed of. Doesn't matter.. I really just NEED a solution... Thank you in Advance. Lucas

I have a compaq presario XP machine with a synaptics touchpad. I turn of tap click but it gets rechecked on reboot. The touch pad scroll stays turned off though.
