Question about Canon imageRUNNER 2200
Instructions to set up network printing
1st you need to make sure the copier has the nic card and print board installed.
Next enter your IP address into the machine
go to additional functions button and system
you should find the screen to enter your address in there. once entered you can ping the computer from the copier with the provided test.
This will take a little searching but you can do this
as long as the hardware is installed on the copier and the harddrive .gui and user update info was installed by the dealer using the canon service tool
hopefully you are using Win XP pro and NOT vista
any more help just holler!.

First findout the IP address , subnet mask, and Gateway addresses of your ISP ( InternetService Provider ). According to above addresses, you have to complete the networksettings of your printer by mentioning the different IP address .
To find out the above mentionedaddresses first open the control panel -> network connections -> local areaconnction -> properties -> Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPV4) ORInternet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPV6)according to your ISP -> Properties
By the systematic selection asmentioned above you will get the IP address, subnet mask and Gateway addresses.
Suppose your IP address is 192.168.0.10 , thegateway may be 192.168.0.1 Or any number. And the subnet mask may beXYY.XYY.XYY.0.
Accordingto your ISP addresses you have to complete the network settings of yourprinter. First press the additional functions -> system settings ->network settings -> TCP/IP settings -> fill up the addresses as follows.
IP address : 192.168.0.16 OR any number .
subnet mask : XYY.XYY.XYY.0.
Gateway : 192.168.0.1
Hurray ! the problem about your networkconnction with the printer to your computer will be automatically solved.
