CD PLAYERS COMES UP NO CD
AND THERE ARE CDS IN ALL 5 COMPARTMENT

I WOULD THROUGH THE DAMN THING OUT BUT MY HUSBAND DOESN'T LIKE CHANGE AND HE KNOW HOW TO OPERATE THIS PIECE OF CRAP

Most likely the laser is faulty, not a self repair item, needs to be taken to a repair shop.

Is the CD supposed to work on batteries only?. It works when plugged in to AC.
