Problem with printing entire page.............

When I try to print or copy a page, it will print the top half perfect then it starts to fade where it becomes illegible. This happens for every page i try to print. I ran a "clean the print cartridge" and it came out perfect, therefore it is not an ink problem. Please solve my problem. Thank you

Copies and prints in combination black-and-color, on occasion. Test print page comes out perfectly. No "low ink level" alerts shown.

HP Deskjet printer 6940 clearly prints only top half of a page. The lower half fades and some lines fade completely. Many thanks for your help!

This problem is mainly due to driver corruption
1. Reinstall the driver or scan for viruses and remove it.
2. Remove all temp files from the drive.
3. Try removing corruption in OS or reload OS.
4. Try connecting to another system and take print out.
5. Chipset on the printer may be having problem, get it serviced.

Bottom of line missing

First try and go to page setup under file and set your bottom and top margins to .25. is every bottom half line faded? If so then yes you might need a new ink cartridge.

When printing some lines don't print properly-appears to be just the top half or less of the line will print. It seems it happens every 3rd or 4th line, but has done it on the second line also, so is not...

Try printing out the test page from the printer, this will show you if any of the inkjet holes are getting plugged. If you can't print a test page without the skipping try changing the ink cartridge(s), the test page will show you which one is clogging.

HP 5610 - printing fades down the page

the printer carriage might be wearing out, it happens on the 5610's, may be time for a new printer. The fading issue sounds like a cartridge issue. Try a oem?

Copying with page feed results in a vertical line on every page

There must be a strip of glass about one inch wide, next to
the large glass. There is the problem !
Clean that strip thourougly. When you use the feeder the pages
are scanned thru the small strip of glass.
