The iron is probably clogged up from mineral deposits in the water. Fill the iron with a 50/50 mix of water and white vinegar. Heat the iron and let it set for awhile. Then steam the solution through the iron. Repeat the process if this does not work. If the Vinegar and water does not work, then try a product such as Lime Away or CLR to remove the deposits. After the iron is cleaned out, try using distilled bottled water in the iron, to reduce the mineral build up.
