Question about Microtek ScanMaker 9800XL Flatbed Scanner
Re: Post below. It was suggested that my lamp needed replacing, but I cannot find a source to purchase one. Any suggestions?
When I turn the scanner on, both lights on the front blink and nothing else happens. This occurred after I moved the scanner to a new location in my classroom. Any help for it?

As a side note, my manual did say that the blinking ready light meant that the bulb is burned out, but it didn't mention the issue with both indicator lights blinking.
JKL Components was able to create a new bulb for me for Microtek 9800 XL with Transparency Adapter. If you have a different model might need to send the bulb so they can see if it needs to be modified. Worked perfectly. Call Larry: 818-896-0019 ext 124. Very nice, and very helpful
