Problem for Polaroid PhotoMax PDC-4355 Digital Camera

Cannot turn date stamp off and date keeps resetting

If I set the date and turn the camera off, when I turn the camera back on the date is reset to 10/01/03 (mm/dd/yy)
I tried formatting and that didn't work.
I set date stamp = OFF and it still puts in the time noted above in the pictures.

-   Having exactly the same problem here. Date was OK for 2 or 3 years, but now resets to 10/01/03 (mm/dd/yy) every time camera is turned off for more than a few seconds. Could there be a buried lithium backup battery inside?-   billoj

-   Having same issue with the date not staying set on my PDC 4355 as well. Have been looking for an answer haven't found one yet. Asked Polaroid as well, hoping to hear back.-   matvintage69
