No it cannot. I am not sure why you would want the water hotter. It is designed to be at the perect temperature for passing through the brew group for coffee brewing, its kind of a simple science.
If your machine has been producing less hot coffee gradually, that marks an issue. Try descaling the boiler per the manufacturer's inscrutions even if the warning light isnt on. The other option is that the thermal fuse mounted to the boiler is bad and turns off the boiler prematurely, those cost about $15 and are simple to replace. Lastly, the boiler heating element may be 'burnt out' new boiler is $120+

My temperature light wont (no hot water) come on, I have removed the boil from the machine how can i test to see if it is working. I have put a multi meter across the terminals and i get a complete circuit does this indicate that the boiler is ok?

How do you increase the water temp?

Hi Donna:
The temperature is pre-set and is intended to be not too hot to inadvertently burn someone. Increasing the setting can cause a real SAFETY HAZARD, especially if small children or seniors are involved.
With that in mind, there will be a panel that unscrews from the side of the heater. After removing it, lift the insulation back and a dial should be visible. There will be numbers, and a pointer with a screw slot in the centre. Turning the pointer to a higher number will increase the temperature.
If you are going to adjust it, only do so a very small amount at one time, until you reach the desired temperature.
Remember, increasing the temperature will not give you more hot water, it will only give you hotter water. If you need more hot water, consider getting a larger tank or an "on demand" gas fired unit.

How do you connect saeco magic deluxe directly to water source?

I have only seen one Saeco that you can use a direct water supply with, the Royal Coffee Bar. I have seen people use a fish tank level control to jery rig a water supply.

Hi
Yes it can, but it takes a special computer that plugs into the back of the power board in the machine.

Saeco Vienna Deluxe not hot enough

Hi
They should have checked the temperature before shipping it out. There is a sensor on the back of the boiler that has (depending on how old the machine is) 2 orange wires. In the wire or on the wire is a resistor. You can remove the resistor and raise the temperature about 6 to 12 degrees, but I think you need a new sensor.

Saeco magic

I believe the model you have has no user-selectable temperature settings. The manual for the Magic line suggests preheating the cups as the fix. You can use the electronic cup warner OR run your tap/faucet water as hot as possible, fill the cup you're going to be dispensing espresso into with hot water while your Saeco warms up...right before you hit the button to dispense espresso, empty the hot water, dry the preheated cup and you're set! It only takes a few seconds. This way, you waste none of your coffee's thermal emergy on cup heating and your coffee will stay hot longer. Hope this helps!
