Question about Lexmark P6250 All-In-One InkJet Photo Printer

"Cartridge Error" in the display.

When it is powered up it fails it's power up sequence with a "Cartridge Error" in the display. Reseating the cartridges does not help. There is no

"Cartridge Error" listed in the manual or online at Lexmark.

    same thing.. changed cartridges and it never worked again. came up cartridge error.. have reinstalled cartridges, cleaned and aligned many times.. no joy there..

    received low ink warning then "install a color print cartridge on the right side" message.I cleaned, replaced and tried new cartridge multiple times It just does not recognise a cartridge

    replaced the cartridge and whammo! "carteidge Error" It's now useless to use with my computer. I can scan to file, or print a black copy, but other than that it's useless.HELP

I got this from Lexmark this morning didn"t work for me but it may help somedody else worth a try C/P. You need to clean NVRAM on Lexmark P6250 printer. Please find below the steps to clear the NVRAM on the Lexmark P6250: 1. Press the "Up" arrow and "Menu" button at the same time. 2. Press the down arrow until the LCD displays "Clean NVRAM." 3. Press "Select."

    This did not clear up the Error 1203 problem on my P6250 printer. I will never buy another Lexmark Printer!

Have a Lexmark P915 & also states "Cartridge Error". Have replaced both cartridges, cleaned multiple times, but it still continues to state the same thing.

Brand new lexmark original cartridge is not recognised. error report' no cartridge'. all contacts cleaned machine dismantled and cleaned and reassembled. has done this before on occasion with refilled...


1. Open the top front cover of the printer. If the display DOES NOT read Close cover or Insert cartridge, the 32 error is not caused by the toner cartridge and printer service will be required to fix the problem.

2. Make sure the correct toner cartridge is installed for this printer model.
1. Check Lexmark for a list of compatible cartridges for your printer.
2. If the wrong toner cartridge is installed, remove it and install the correct one.

3. If the correct toner cartridge is installed, it may not be seated correctly. To ensure that this is not the cause of the error, do the following:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Reseat the toner cartridge.
3. Close the lid.
4. Power the printer back on and check the display.

4. If reseating the toner cartridge does not clear the error message and the error started as soon as you installed this particular toner cartridge, the cartridge may be broken. You can check this as follows:
1. Power off the printer and then reinstall the old cartridge. (You can also try a different new cartridge to see if that clears the error.)
2. If the error does disappear, the problem may lie with this cartridge. Please contact the point of purchase, especially if the cartridge is brand new out of the box.

5. If the error cannot be cleared by putting in a new toner cartridge or one that is known to be working, the printer may require service to fix the problem.

This error message appears on the printer screen when the printer thinks the wrong toner cartridge is installed. To clear it or identify a service requirement, follow the steps below. Black printer ink in HP Printer may fail to be recognized by the printer. Most times an error message will be sent indicating that something is wrong with the black print cartridge. Sometimes the printer may accept to print with the black ink, but the printouts may have horizontal lines and very illegible letters. In such a case a manual cleaning of the print head should be carried out. In doing the manual cleaning, one should spray Windex heavily on paper towel and wipe off the surface of the print head.

What is error #2200


The 2200 error message indicates a scanner stall or jam. The steps below will help you to resolve the issue and clear the error message.

Printer Reset



1 Power off the All-In-One (AIO) and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Wait 30 seconds. Then reinsert the power supply and power the AIO on.

Did the error message return?

Yes: Continue to step 2.

No: Attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved.


2 Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the scanner cover. Check the scanner glass for cracks and the scanner casing for cracks. Close the scanner lid. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Remove both cartridges, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.

Did the error message return?

Yes: contact Dell.
No: Continue to step 3.


3 Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Insert the color cartridge, close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power on the AIO.

Did the error message return?

Yes: Repeat step 3 with another color cartridge. If the printer fails again, continue to step 4.

No: Repeat step 3 and install the black/photo cartridge. If both cartridges are installed, attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved.


4 Power off the AIO and remove the power supply from the back of the unit. Open the top cover of the AIO. Using the carrier belt, move the cartridge carrier to the middle of the unit. Remove the color cartridge and insert the black/photo cartridge. Then close the top cover, reinsert the power supply, and power the AIO on.

Did the error message return?

Yes: Repeat step 4 with another black/photo cartridge. If the printer fails again, contact Dell.

No: Install the color cartridge. If the printer fails, contact Dell. If the error message does not appear with both cartridges installed, attempt a test scan. If the error message does not reappear, the error is resolved.

Epson stylus cx5000


Hi-

Try reseating the blackcartridge, take it out and reinstall it. if it fails then have the cartridge change it might be damaged for some reason( bad cartridge). call 562-276-1300 for replacement.

try reseating the cartridge & also reseat the power brick assembly.....also if u hv the factory installed cartridges....try installing those & chk if u still get the error...

Hp c7180 ink failure


Here is the exact sequence for the C7180. It worked great for me:
This is easily fixed with the following key sequences. You do NOT have to open the printer and unplug a circuit board.

1) press * and # at the same time
2) press 1, 2, 3 and “support R0632M” should display
3) press > and “information menu” should display
4) press > and “configuration menu” should display
5) press OK and “hardware failure status” should display
6) press OK “failure status: clear”. Press OK to clear
7) press CANCEL
8) press CANCEL
9) press CANCEL
10) turn printer off, unplug power cord for 2 minutes, plug cord back in then turn printer back on.
NOTE: I did this and the fist time the error came back. Do the sequence again (as I did) and the error will be replaced with the usual print cartridge initialization screens. Print a test page to make sure.

Hi,

I just like to ask to where specifically you can see the red light. It will help us determine what cause the red light. To give you heads up as well, the Printer's LCD screen can help us determine what exactly the offline condition of the CX3200 is:


Error message: No color or black ink cartridge-->Press the Color Copy button to install a new ink cartridge.
Solution: The indicated ink cartridge is not installed. Please install the necessary cartridge(s).

Error message: Color or black ink out -- >Press the Color Copy button to begin replacing the ink cartridge.
Solution: The indicated ink cartridge is out of ink. You will need to replace the necessary ink cartridge(s).


Error Message: Ink cartridge error -- > Press the Color Copy button to begin replacing the ink cartridge.
Solution: There is something wrong with the ink cartridge. Make sure the cartridge is genuine Epson ink. Also, try reseating the cartridge (remove it, and then reinstall it).

Error Message: Paper jam or misfeed -- > Press the Color Copy button and clear the paper jam by hand if necessary.
Solution: Paper is jammed. Check for any obstructions under the unit's cover, and in the paper tray.

Error Message: Paper out -- > Load paper in the sheet feeder and press the Color Copy button.
Solution: Load paper in the sheet feeder, and then press the Color Copy button to continue printing.

Error Message: Scanner unit open -- > close the scanner unit
Solution: Carefully close the scanner and press it down until it clicks securely into place.

Error Message: Scanner error -- > See your documentation and call service if necessary.
Solution: Press the ON button to turn off the Epson Stylus CX3200. Unlock the transportation lock, if necessary. If it is already unlocked, toggle the lock back and forth, 5-10 times. Turn on your Stylus CX3200 again.


Error Message: Printer error -- > See your documentation and call service if necessary.
Solution: Press the ON button to turn off the Epson Stylus CX3200. Disconnect it from power, and then reconnect it to power. Press the ON button to turn on the Stylus CX3200.

PROBLEM WITH PRINTER


"10.001" is probably 10.00.01 and is referring to a supplies error with the cyan toner. Try reseating the toner cartridge as the cartridge mounted chip may not have made good contact with the printer. If this doesn't take care of it, replace the cartridge.
