Samsung CLP 300 printer has red light on. Previously it had a green light, I printed a page, the red light would flash, I would press the stop button, then it would turn green and print out in bad quality. None of the toner lights are on, there is no jam, and the internal components of the printer are very hot. Help please.

to detect the printer status you need to download a samsung smart panel for CLP-300 from Samsung web site.
And if the status is ok try taking a demo page by continuously pressing stop buttons till the print is out put in tray. (usually more than 5 Seconds)
Check for fragments of paper inside the printer around the rollers. If you find any, remove them. Turn off the printer and then turn it back on to see if it solves the problem.
Have you run the Dr. Printer utility that comes with the printer? If not, run that and see what it says. You can download it from the CLP-300 support page at samsung.com.
