You sound as frustrated as i was. Use password for 2007 color phone " color*set" when promted for admin password. Further trick is to "down arrow" for ok. If you get dhcp server startup hit services again and again until you get to admin password again. Enter password and touch down until you see menu for network config which is number 3. Your IT guy should be ready to provide IP and whether DHCP is full or partial and provide IP for BCM. You have about 3 minutes before timeout.

Plug the phone in and allow it to boot up. Once the home screen is displayed, press and hold the 4, 6, 8, and * keys for about three seconds, or until you hear an audio alert and the phone asks you for a password. Enter 456 (default Admin password) and the phone will default itself. If the password has been changed, and 456 does not work, enter the MAC address of the phone as the password. Entering the MAC address of the phone will only reset the Admin password to the default, so it will probably be necessary to repeat this procedure, entering 456 the second time, to factory default the phone.
your voip enabled phone uses dynamic ip addressing so doesn't have a fixed ip. however if you want to configure the phone Connect the WAN port of the SPA922 to your network (router, switch or hub). Make sure that you have a DHCP server so that the SPA922 will get the IP address.
To login to web based administration follow the steps
Access the web based setup page of the SPA922. Verify the IP address through the LCD. Click Menu then press 9. It should show you the DHCP IP address. Open a browser and type that in the Address bar.
Click Admin Login .
Note: The SPA922 does not have a username and password by default. If you are asked for a username and password and you have not configured a password, it means that the SPA921 is locked by your VoIP provider. You need to obtain the password from your VoIP provider.

it depends on the setup of the system the codes can be changes by the admins.
Mine is set to #87
You need to dial this code then your extension number so if your extension is 1234 you would dial #871234 this in theory can be done from any ext, it does not have to be yours, there is a posibility that it will not work as you can change permissions so tht some extensions cant do this. If ythis is the case ask your admin to change the "class of service"
I bought SNOM 300 and i was unable to connect the router in first go. it was keep saying Send DHCP reqt but nothing was happening. i tried even connecting SNOM 300 dirctly to my laptop but in vain. in last i started receiving message Ethernet cable unplugged.
I reset the SNOM 300 to the factory defaults which solved the problem immediately.
Get to the phone menu "configuration-Reset" and select this option. it will ask for the admin password which is 0000. This will fix the issue. try it.
