It sounds like the check valve is stuck open. Also, the seals may have either become twisted or torn. An internal inspection (also known as a tear down) is in order. Check with the manufacturer's website for instructions and/or assistance.

Gun was working fine, now will not fire even with new co2 cartridge, any suggestions

It is possible the 'new' CO2 cartridge is defective.

If the gun was working fine BEFORE you installed the new CO2 cartridge, try a different cartridge.

Maybe the seal wasn't pearced on the new cartridge. Also, a blockage would also prevent the gun from firing. Check the gas pathways for a blockage.

Air leaks out when installing co2

The Phantom Break-Barrel does not use CO2. It is a spring-loaded break-barrel weapon. If you really do have a CO2 gun, check the rubber seal around the outside of the cartridge puncture needle.

Air pistol c02 replacement

Well that takes me back! I have an old Daisy 1200 -- essentially the same pistol in a different brand.

My Daisy has a hand-turn screw to hold the CO2 cartridge in place, and you have to tighten it quickly until the leaking stops. It does this by pressing the cartridge up against a nylon washer to form a seal (and of course pushing it into the piercing pin to get the CO2 out!)

With age, I'd expect that nylon washer to get stiff or crack, making it harder to form a good seal. You don't need an exact replacement part, but if that's happened to yours then you will need to replace it with something more-or-less the same size as the original.

Daisy CO2 200 pistol needs seals I think.

Try oiling it first. In the CO2 cartridge well, there is an oil spot. Put some 3-in-1 oil in that. If not, check out this link to see how to fix the seals on the pistol.

After inserting and compressing the CO2 cartridge, the CO2 leaks

You need to check the rubber o-ring seals both in the plug and there could be another up in the gun where the cartridge end meets the inside. If you have a broken o-ring you should be able to find one that fits at your local hardware store or store that sells air rifles. Hope this helps.
