Question about Nintendo Wii Console
I recently, very recently in fact, bought a very slightly used Wii console, and when it doesnt come to disk and game playing, it works perfectly fine. After I was done creating a Mii and all that jazz, I went to put in Wii Sports and realized there was a disc already in the Wii. The previous owner had left a game inside it for me to play! At first, the Wii wouldnt play it, only because the disk was put in the incorrect way, so I switched it around and waited for it to load. Nothing, so I took it out, cleaned it and placed in back in. After two or three tries, it finally started playing and the game worked for the rest of the night. Now, this morning is a different story. I went to have a quick play and the game wouldnt play, so I took it out, cleaned it and put it back in the console. Nothing. I fiddled with it maybe 10 minutes, then I gave up. Now the Wii is laying on my bed, and the game is in a case.
I wonder what's wrong with it.
Hi, we bought our daughter a Wii for Christmas and it worked fine for certain discs but others appeared not to load. By not loading I mean no picture appeared in the top left channel box. I thought there was something wrong with two of the discs as all others seemed to work fine. SOLUTION: We put what we thought was a faulty dis back in the Wii and as expected, no picture appeared in the top left hand Channel box. However, we double clicked this box anyway and the Wii then said it was downloading an update. this took about five minutes and then the disc loaded. Simple when you know how ;-) I hope this helps. 1. Are you getting an error?
2. is it with one game or all games,
3. can you try the games in another Console?

If Wii gives Disc Read Error, first step you need to check is to try
another disc or clean the exisitng disc. This will confirm that problem
is with either Wii or Disc. If the console itself is giving disc read
error then it needs to be repaired. You may check out DIY Wii Fix Guide,
that will show step by step information to fix the problem yourself. It
also gives information on fixing many Wii Related Problems, so its a
kind of Wii Problems Reference Fix Guide.
