Call of duty game wont play on my ps3 anymore

for weeks played my call of duty modern warefare game and everything was fine with it no problem at all, then all of the sudden it wont play it at all the screen is split into sections its all fuzzy and bouncing and i have no idea why. I know its not the game cause i went out and bought a band new one and the same was wrong with that, it plays all my other games with no problem at all. Im lost and haven't got a clue what to do im thinking it might be something to do with the settings or software for that game but i dont know. I've checked all the genrel settings for the ps3 and everything seems ok i tried re-setting default settings but still the same. Can anyone help me out here please!!!
