Do i have a lan card installed on my system??

i dont know if i have a lan card installed on my system..
it's a Compaq system, bought in 2002.
How do i get to know if i have a lan card installed??
if there is one, then i need a driver for the same.

under network adapters..my modem is listed
but under other devices..ethernet controller is listed..so that means that ethernet card is not installed on my system..right??

WizJust check it in the device manager ,, goto device manager by right clicking on my computer... if u have network adapters then u have LAN ... and if u have lan u don need drivers it will be inbuilt ...
