Question about HP LaserJet 4350 Printer
I have three trays on my 4350 but the printer only wants to print from tray 1(the top tray), if there is no paper in tray 1 it says please load tray 1 and gives me the option to choose another tray so I ask it to print from tray 2 & it prints one page then asks me to load tray 1 again and I have to repeat the process. How can I make it print from tray 2 and then 3 continuously?
Go to menu
in the configure device
select override A4/ Letter to yes
then it print automatically from tray2 & 3
kindly ensure if u r using A4 sheet that setting is not in tray 1 paper size

Check your paper trays to insure they are set to standard paper size. Pull out the tray and look along the right side towards the rear is a blue lever that alows setting of standard and custom. It should normally set to standard.
If that does not help do a cold reset. Make sure to do a config print before you do because you'll loose I/O settings and configs

Paper size or paper type is incorrectly set on trays (check settings via printers keyboard menu) or and settings in print driver are incorrect (control panel/printers and faxs right click hp icon properties

Selecting which tray is used for printing
You can select how the printer pulls paper from the trays.
Understanding tray order
When the printer receives a print job, it selects the tray by trying to match the requested paper
type and size with what has been loaded in the trays. Using an "autoselect" process, it searches
all available trays for the paper that satisfies the request, starting with the bottom tray and ending
with the top tray (tray 1). The printer begins printing the job as soon as it finds the proper type/
Note The "autoselect" process occurs only if no specific tray is requested for the job. If a specific tray
is requested, the job prints from the requested tray.
If paper is loaded in tray 1 and tray 1 is set TRAY 1 TYPE=ANY and TRAY 1 SIZE=ANY on the
Paper Handling menu, the printer will always pull paper from tray 1 first. See "Customizing
tray 1 operation" on page 47 for more information.
If the search fails, a message appears on the printer control panel display requesting that
you load the correct paper type/size. You can load that paper type/size, or you can override
the request by selecting a different type/size at the printer control panel.
If a tray runs out of paper during a print job, the printer automatically switches to any tray that
contains the same paper type/size.
The autoselect process changes somewhat if you customize tray 1 operation (as explained in
"Customizing tray 1 operation" on page 47) or set tray 1 for manual feed (as explained in
"Manually feeding paper from tray 1" on page 49). See if this works. Good luck !

Set tray (3? ) or other non standard paper type trays to type setting of letterhead and set normal paper tray (2) paper type to plain .
You do this on printer keyboad find menu then find paper handling, tray xxx, paper type. xxxx...set or tick
Via operations panel you can also printout current settings too to see if you have done the change if you do one before and after
There are other settings on your printer that can effect this and driver configuation and doc type setting on pc that can effect this also but try step above first and report back if still having issues. Is it run by a server? Do you abity to change driver settings on your pc?
