touch wood it'll last....this solution has worked; as we had the same problem on our Bosch Classixx Condenser

I had the same problem, and followed these instructions and it worked! Thanks to Mr Speedy!
I would just say that the "plastic box" referred to, seems to be metal on mine, but as it was the only thing that looked remotely like a float sawitch I took the plunge and fingers crossed, we're all good!

The problem is with the lower water tank float switch, it is stuck. Take off the right hand side panel (as you are facing the machine) at the bottom you will see a spring mechanism for the belt tension. Beside this there are 2 electrical connectors. Take them off and spray with wd40 or similar. Whilst off give the plastic box they fit 2 a light tap with a hammer to free the float switch. Reconnect and try. If this fails you can over-ride by leaving the left hand of the two plugs off. This will get your machine working but you will not have an indication as to when the water container needs emptying so you will need to remember.

Tried this and nearly burnt something out when switched back on (smoke coming out of machine). Dont think it's a float switch in this pition on the Classixx 6, it's a small metal cylinder next to the spring mechanism and presumably the float switch would be connected to the tank (this just has electrical connections on it). Anyway, tried advice from elsewhere and it worked: unscrew back cover and there is a small red reset botton in the middle of the machine. Job done!

I had the same problem, after running for 1-2 minutes the empty container light would come on and the dryer would not heat. Listening carefully I could hear a gurgling noise. After trying Mr Speedy's suggestion I unclipped and checked the end of the drain hose (there is a white right angled connector that directs the water into the tank - it can be seen in the back left of the machine just under the top cover). I pulled the connector off the hose and it was blocked by a small piece of plastic and a collection of fluff that had built up behind it. After removing the blockage and replacing everything the machine works perfectly! Huzzah! Thanks Mr Speedy for your suggestion, it allowed me to fix my problem.

ps you'll need a star-tipped screwdriver to remove the screws securing the top and side panels

I have a bosch classixx tumble drier, condensing type. When I try turning it on, select levei of dry. Then press the start button I get a bleep, then the 'drying light', 'iron dry light' & 'anti-crease/end...

Sounds as though you need to unplug then empty the water from the water container & the lint box, then definitely open the bottom flap & by rinsing & drying the condenser box gently to avoid damage use an old tooth brush, once all these are complete plug back in & try again, as it will not reset until all these are empty & clear, hope this helps.....

Bosch Condenser Dryer Classixx

I found this on justanswer.com, I am going to try it this weekend and I will post an update.

"Ok if you remove the left hand side panel then located at the back is the drain pump
remove the hose on it which goes up to the bottle and blow up it to make sure its clear.
If thats fine then remove the pump and clear any fluff thats in there and make sure the impeller is ok and turning fine.
Then refit and try again hopefully this should sort it out.
let me know if you need anymore info."

Bosch classixx 1000 washing machine - stops on spin

Washing machine stops at the spin cycle - light flashes. Have to drain water out manually. Happened last week and was then able to run an empty rinse cycle. Machine worked normally for another week. Same problem today but have had to drain water manually from the drum after trying an empty 90 wash and rinse cycle (both stopped on the Spin and flashed). Any ideas? Thanks. x

Bosch WVF 2402 Washer Drier Steam Problem

Hello All

Problem solved by clearing out the condensate container which on inspection was full of dried up fluff and dead tissues! This is not a ****that is mentioned in the manual and access to the bin is pretty tricky so I suspect there are lots of machines out there with the same problem waiting to happen.

Access was gained by taking the top of the machine off, removing the dryer motor and then scraping out the muck using a wire coathanger and a vacuum cleaner.

Many thanks

Andy Wray
