I have a JVC AV-29VS24. I have owned it for about 2 years now. I have never had any problems with it until today. With the remote, I tried to turn it on and all it kept making was a clicking sound. The power button which is located at the bottom right of the screen now continuously blinks. There is no sound or picture as well. Can you help?

If you hear a buzzing, humming or rapid clicking noises this could be a problem with your ballast.Might be a good idea though to pull out your lamp just ensure its not damaged. You can find these at discount-merchant.com
My problem is solved!!! I called my neighborhood TV repair shop. The technician suggested I check the Internal Speaker Switch on the back of the TV. And sure enough, I had accidentally move the switch to the OFF position while carrying it from one room to the other. Ahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! my 13 year old JVC is as good as new!!!!!
sounds like its stretched out just a bit. Do you feel comfortable with messing around inside where theres 100s of volts??? if you do then in the vert curcuit theres a small control called the vert height control right on the printed curcuit board. adjust it slightly so you can see that full pic but not the black partm of the pic. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMEND thaT if you have no experience with this then leave it to a pro as afterv all they will charge you a minumum beanch charge to adjust the set for you Im sure as it is a minor thing to do. good Luck
