Question about Motorola Mobility H500 Wireless Headset

1 Answer

How do I set up and use my Bluetooth - instructions were not included

Setting up and Using Bluetooth
My Bluetooth320R.Explorer Headset did not contain instructions for use.
Although I purchased it a while ago, I am just setting out to use it with my new phone.
Also, were there other parts to it besides the ear piece - if so, what?????
Any assistance you can give me will be very much appreciated.

I am on able to pair my 220plantronic head set it is asking for password I tried 0000 and 1234 it did not work.

The pass code for the Plantronics bluetooth headsets have been 0000 (four zeros) for as long as I can remember. Make sure there is no interference from another bluetooth device and follow these instructions with the attached link for the Plantronics Explorer 220.

Here is the link for the instructions for the Plantronics Explorer 220.

How to link my blue tooth

Pairing the Plantronics Explorer 220:

For most phones, select Settings/Tools, Connections, Bluetooth, On. See your phone's user guide for more information.

With the 220 headset powered off, turn on the headset by pressing and holding the call control button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED flashes red & blue. The Explorer 220 headset is now in pairing mode. If you don't see the red/blue flash, press and hold the power button to turn your headset off, and then press and hold the power button again and hold for 5-6 seconds until you see the red & blue flash.

From your phone, go to the Bluetooth menu and select "Search" or "Add Device". Your phone should find the headset which will appear as "2xxPlantronics" in your list of devices.

If prompted for the Passkey (PIN code), enter 0000. If your phone asks for a PIN/passkey, enter 0000 (4 zeros). Pairing is successful when the LED on your headset flashes blue. Your headset is now connected and ready to use.

I have a plantronics explorer 220 bluetooth headset, and a nokia 6500classic. My telephone do not find the headset bluetooth. It is this 2 items compatible?

Check that both devices have activated Bluetooth connectivity. Check that the distance between the two devices is not over 33'. Make sure that the Plantronics bluetooth Explorer is not hidden on your phone. Sometimes the bluetooth activations are not easily accessed. Here is a link to the Explorer 220 pairing instructions for you to try.

I need a security passkey for a plantronics 6400 bluetooth headset

Step 1: Set the headset to be discoverable

1. Turn off the headset.
2. Press and hold the headset button for about eight seconds, until you hear the startup tone and then five quick high beeps.

The headset is now discoverable and will remain so for about five minutes. The status light blinks while the headset is discoverable.

Step 2: Turn on Bluetooth on the other device and search for devices

1. On the device, turn Bluetooth on and set the device to search for other Bluetooth devices.
2. On the device, choose iPhone Bluetooth Headset and enter the PIN code 0000.

See the instructions that came with your other Bluetooth-enabled device for more information about pairing it with Bluetooth devices.

Bluetooth is paired and on but instead of answering calls, send call straight to voicemail.

Is there a visble window setting You may have to change it to be visible to your phone for more than a few minutes. Check your setting on answering or sending all incoming to the answer machine. Press the large face button to answer a call. link to playtronics for user manual.
