I think you will need to get someone out to do this, its quite a difficult job.

I think with the idesit there is a small kick plate that runs along the botton of the machine, is so tip the machine back at an angle and remove this. then you can pull the front forward just enough to get the beltfeeding it through the door and roundthe drum, then you will need to prise it onto the motor pully underneath with your arms through the gap where you took the plate of.

Yes but it doesn't go on the fan end it goes on the other end that has grooves in it.

You best put the machine back together first, as with it apart the drum mat not be able to turn.

Maybe the drum is siezed, can you turn it bfrom the inside? this could be what broke the belt in the first place.

It may be to small, try mesuring it against the old one, although you may have to take it of again. :-(

Help! My indesit IS60V tumble dryer is banging and dancing

Have the rear bearing and shaft checked. Had same problem briefly until it stopped all together. When I looked at it, I found that the drum rear shaft had worn through the bearing and had been riding on the rear panel. This caused the rear panel, being thin to wear through the shaft until it sheared. This could be repaired by replacing the bearing and rear shaft for around £30 but in my case I'll need to the check the motor isn't burnt out too.

My indesit is60v tumble dryer is clunking when it spinning and sounds like it got something stuck in it scrapping inside

More likely to be worn rear bearing, and or drum shaft,or possibly badly worn drum belt
To access the inside of the dryer, remove top cver and right hand side pane llooking from the front.
