Blinking picture
After turning on the TV, the picture blinks off and on for awhile until it warms up for a few minutes.

- My Sony TV, same model and size, has the same exact problem which started couple months ago ! I thought it was either a TV and/or Cable setup problems, but numerous trial later I still have the same problem !!!- EPracticalBest Solution

Hold on a second, if the picture is good when its there then the crt is not bad, what more than likely needs to be done is adjust the Screen Control on the back of the CRT Board up just a tick, I've worked on alot of these tv's and 9 times out of 10 thats the problem, however a qualified tech should do this.
