Re: reduce share memory

I take it this is an onboard video that is sharing system memory. You will need to enter the bios settings and set the shared memory from here.

My inspiron 8100 has 64MB of graphics card memory but it is only showing 32MB before the lcd went bad and shows dark screen with rectangular lines of different colors. I purchased lcd on ebay and still...

The graphics card - it overheated because the radiator makes a bad contact on the chip in these models. Unfortunately the damage is extensive, the repair would cost even more than another working laptop - just get a new one.

Sharing ram with graphic card memory

If its possible which I haven't been able to find info on, you can press the F2 button as you turn on the laptop to get into the BIOS and check in the different settings there to see if you can do it. If you don't see the option for it then it can't be done.

Where download triplex ati 9250 64mb?

Go to website and choose your operating system, then choose radeon in the next window, then choose the 9250 in the last column then click go. It seems some of the systems do not have it listed, but windows xp 32 bit does have it, didnt see any for vista or 7.

Ati radeon 9550 agp with pinnacle pctv hd problem please help

Try to put it on another pci slot. if you are using the one right under the agp, then that is your culprit.  the agp and the top pci slot share video resources.  just put it on another pci slot, if you have to swap another non-video related card to the one just beneath the agp slot.  Hope this helps.

I suspect my graphics card has been swapped by my comp. guy.

Your graphics are integrated into the motherbaord, so he couldn't have changed it out on you. Your Satellite has a ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 IGP with 64MB shared memory.

You can try to update or rollback the driver to see if that solves the problem, or contact the guy who serviced your laptop and see if he has any ideas.

I want to share memory with my graphic card

the system cannot share memory with your graphic card, the hard disk can share its free space with the RAM to increase performance when you have little RAM installed.
I recommend buying a graphic card with 512mb memory for your system.

Graphics card does not respond

remove the new graphic card. reconnected the monitor back to themotherboard. download the Radeon 9550 video card drive, and install it on the machine first.
shut down the machine. install the video card. restart the machine.

make sure the driver is in a folder you can find.
