You have to know camera manufacture and its model. and go to theire website and download a appoprite driver for your porduct. and install it... do not download driver from som non-trusted website. just go to mfg. website and download it.

I Was also facing the same audio problem . To resolve it

1. Download Universal Audio Architecture From here. Download and install it . By doing this your motherboard will recognise audio controller.

2. Download Latest Audio driver from here.

Why not re-install the software that you know works ? Improved is not necessarily better.

There are 2 possibilities in this problem.
If you are using Windows Vista, you should download updated USB driver from Sony Support. ( see Downloads )
Go to camera Menu and enable USB Streaming function so PC will recognize camera.

Please download Sony USB Driver from Sony Support so your computer will recognize your camera DCR-PC101E.

Go to camera menu and enable USB Stream, problem will be solved and PC will recognise your camera.

i have a panasonic D100 camcoder and i dont have the software to install it to my pc please how do i get one
