Not sure who makes this unit for Goodman's, but I recommend contacting Goodman's ( http://www.goodmans.net/contact.asp)
to see if they can give you a website to download the manual or if they have a manual or can order one for you.

Should be some smalls screws holding in on. You might see just the holes but not the screws...A long skinny screwdriver will reach into the holes.Use a flashlight.
I have not been able to find an online manual for your LD 1547D. However, you can go to the Comet/ Goodmans website (link below) and submit a question for a manual after registering your email address.
