Question about PC Laptops
Several keys on my board are not working. I´m told by my local guy that the keyboard got damp whilst I hid it in my house when I was away!
Can anyone advise me re where I can buy a new keyboard for the above? I live in Spain and I´m told I have to send my laptop to Madrid to be repaired.
If I was able to buy a keyboard, the guy says it´s easy to replace.
Yes u better buy a new keyboard so that u may no face the problem again ... and also repairing and transportation everything costs u around half of the new money i guess..

Ebay or somewhere similar is your best bet for getting a 'used' and therefore much cheaper replacement. Just type in the make/model of your machine..
Most Keyboards are pretty easy to replace and if your not sure how to do it, run a search on the web or post on here with your specific model etc. If its put together anything like my Sony all you have to do is remove a bit of trim above the keyboard (carefully) and there are 4/6 screws holding the keyboard in place. Remove these and the keyboard just slides out. Then it's just a matter of disconnecting the ribbon and reversing the order to put it all back together.
Good luck, J
