Uniden TRU8885 Register/Deregister Issue
I purchased a used receiver that had not been deregistered. I tried using it on my original phone and it did not work. It seems that I cannot deregister the newly purchased receiver unless I had the base that came with it.

- I have two Nokia DSS7815+2 cordless phone sets. We are moving and I sent one base station and one handset to my new address in another country. Here's what you do:
- pull the battery
- hold down * and # while reinserting battery
- wait for beep
- hit rightmost soft button (keys at top under the lcd screen)
- wait for 'erase complete' message
- hit end
