Problem for HP Photosmart C3180 All-In-One InkJet Printer

Installing HP Photosmart C3188 All-in-One on Widows Vista Home Premium.

Friend,
I just changed my oprating system from Windows XP SP2 to Vista Home Premium 32 bit. Now the installation CD which came the HP Photosmart C3188 is not working with Vista. The message is i am getting is that ' the opperating system is not supported'. Can you help me ?

To get the scanner to work, you don't need to down load the full HP bloatware App. All you have to do is one of these:

Scanning with Windows Fax and Scanning

Click Start.
Click All Programs.
Click Windows Fax and Scanning.
Click New Scan.
Click File and then click Scan.

Scanning with Paint

Click Start.
Click All Programs.
Click Accessories.
Click Paint.
Click File and then click From Scanner or Camera.
Click Scan.

Scanning with Windows Photo Gallery

Click Start.
Click All Programs.
Click Windows Photo Gallery.
Click File and then click Import From Scanner or Camera.
Click Import.
Click Scan.

download the latest vista compatible drivers from HP website ...
