Wii power problems ...ty in advance

when i got my wii game console to srilanka i plugged it in with the help of the instructions then at once the trip swith went then after a while i
the person who bought it for me said that its the wrong with the voltage value (in srilanka its 230v) so they sent me another ac adptor which is not an original but the same one that the person who bought me the wii his son uses for the wii as the other ac adapter burnt due to lack of voltage i guess then i plugged the new ac adaptor again but no power at all nothing but before i got the new one i got a custom made ac adaptor by a local electrician but it had the red light on only but when i press the power button it starts to do something odd in the console light n around the place u put the cd and still with the custom made adaptor when the power is supplyied it says red n twitches when i press eject n power
