Retriving photos i have a sony cybershot camera dsc 1 i have deleated my photos from the camera it has gone into the album how can i retrive them back so i can copy them to my pc thanks

You cannot do this with the camera itself. However, you can use a card reader to connect the memory card to your computer and use a program to piece together the files, whose data are still present on the card (providing you stopped taking photos, of course).

The best program to use is called PhotoRec and you can find it here. It's free, released under the GNU licence.

Save any photos you recover to your computer... not to the card itself.

This software scans all storage space on usb and then join pieces together to recover photos. So even virus affected your file table, and put virus to boot sector, the program can still be used to recover your photos.

You need to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

There is some expensive software available that will retrieve your pics. Do a Google search for "photo retrieval software".

Use a separate card reader to download the pics.

the file system for your card is FAT or FAT32.

so use the FAT one.

Then look at the capacity of the memory stick and take pictures

How do I download from camera to computer

You need to go to MENU, roll down to SET UP
if you roll down you would see at top
"Camera1", "Camera2" and "Memory Stick"
go to Memory Stick and roll down to COPY
go to ALBUM...
and then she ask you...All data in Album will be copied. Ready? touch OK ....
Now you create a folder with all the photos in the memory and you can download it.
