unable to eject tape and all lights on the right side flashing

Same. After broken tape this occurred. The motor controlling the interior tape spool may not be pulling as fast as the tape is being feed into the drive...like a bad timing belt in a car. The resulted is tape loosely wrapping the interior spool.
Suggest a new solution for this problem
