Hi, I have a zanussi turbodry 1200 which is around 2 years old.
My wife tells me that everything works fine until the machine trys to enter the spin cycle. The drum starts to rotate then cuts out after a second or two. It then attempts to spin a couple more times then gives up. (Know how it feels). Any advice would be gratefully appreciated.

its very common for front load washers to have the water pump to freeze up.
ever washed something with sand or little rocks or rubber bands?
flip the washer to the side, then locate the water pump. take the filter and the hoses around the water pump. sometimes the water pump too, to make sure that the fins on the water pump are free and not stuck. put everything together and try the cycle. when the water pump is stuck it will cause the error and will not go into the spin cycle.
