I entered the code for the HT-SK5, 1932, we used on other univeral remotes, but it doesnt seem to work with the Innovage Universal Remote. Love the huge size so the remote doesnt fall behind the couch cushions or hide under junk easily, but cant seem to get it and our player in sync. Help!

If your remote won't work at all, then you'll need to get a new remote from Samsung to control all functions. If however, everything works on the remote but the volume, keep the original for all other functions and just use a cheap universal remote programmed to the Samsung code to control the volume. I had the same thing happen on a Sony THIB remote for a HT. I used a Scientific Atlanta to turn it on and off, as well as control the volume, but retained the original remote so I could get at all other functions. If you have to buy a new Samsung remote or if you buy one of those high-dollar universal remotes that program a zillion functions it will cost you big. Fair warning.
You have this backwards. If you are trying to use a Samsung remote, the codes are in it. If you are trying to use some other universal remote you need to specify the brand of remote to get a response from us
0053, 0921, 1019, 1117You can try one of these codes or try one after the other. However, codes may also depend on the universal remote you are using. If not working, add which remote you are using also.
There are no codes you program into the remotes unless they are learning remotes. If you did the manual search for the code, then the universal remote will not work on that unit I'm afraid. You see you are not entering the code into the remote when you push the numbers the book tells you to. What you are doing is accessing the pre programed codes that are already programed into the remote. You cannot add any codes for universal remotes unless like I said before, they are called learning type remotes. Those cost loads of cash. Good Luck
