The metal tip to the power cord came off inside my dash and can not be removed. How do I get a new cord under my warrenty

If this is a top loading machine; then the "Lid Switch " is broken. To get to the switch, UNPLUG THE POWER CORD, standing in front of the machine, there are trim strips on each end (left and right) of the "dash". To remove the strips pop them off starting at the top and pulling towards yourself. Once the trim strips are off you'll see a screw at the bottom of each corner. Remove the screws-KEEP THEM-. Now the dash will lift up and fold back out of the way. Now you should see a curved metal piece at each corner. Use a screw driver tip and remove them. Now you can lift the metal piece that is the top of the washer. Underneath and on the right side you will see the lid switch, unplug the wires and replace the switch. Plug the wires into the new switch and put it all back together.

If your coffee maker is not under warrenty you can remove the base where the cord goes in to make sure the wires are connected if they are lose restrip them and then connect them. If it is still under warrenty check your manual for trouble shooting the service # will be there.

-try a power cycle
*remove battery and disconnect from power cord
*i would also suggest to check the tapes if they're clean
*try to clean the tape head inside the tape deck(tape head: the one that reads the tape)
-try using a soft and dry Q-tip to clean the metal parts inside the tape deck(dont use or apply any liquid solutions. just a plain soft dry Q-tip.

Remove the two end panels on the dash. These are the panels that are located on either end of the dashboard. Place a rag over the tip of a flat tip screwdriver and wedge the tip behind the panel. Then pry the end panel off the dash. Do this for both panels.Remove the nine screws holding the glove box in place. Remove the two screws under the side panel on the passenger side (removed in step 1), four inside the glove box, two under the glove box, and one in the bottom left corner of the glove box (you can only access it after removing all of the other screws and extending the glove box down beyond what is normally allowed with the other screws in). Remove the screws holding the dash on under the steering wheel. Remove the two under the panel on the driver's side panel (removed in step 1), three on the underside of the dash, one on either side of the steering column, and one near the bezel covering the stereo.Pull the dash off from around the stereo controls.Remove the clip and wiring for the hazard switch using a flat tip screwdriver.Remove the six screws holding the HVAC unit and stereo unit in place and pull the stereo straight out of the dash. Unplug the electrical connection from the back of the stereo.

make sure all the bulbs are working. If not check the fuse but i doubt its a fuse cause none of the lights would be on but check the flasher. Flasher Location

It is located under the dash board on the drivers side. You will need a flash light, zip cord for re-installation, a long non metallic rod 1/4" dia and a wire hanger. Bend hanger straight and make a little hook on end. Remove turn signal fuse located at fuse box under driver side dash. Lay on floor with flashlight on drivers side. Look above fuse box it is located above it about 10" it is round and silver. Use rod to push off clamp. Now use hanger to retrieve flasher unclasp and install new flasher. Reinstall flasher and clip under dash with zip cord for access later. Replace fuse. If you need further assistance please let me know. Thanks, midwest-tek

This tv still under warrenty?Call Samsung for service.Ur tv the power supply board is dead.That the board where the power a/c cord plug into it.That is ur tv power supply board and is dead.It must require replacing.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacemnt,if the tv is out of warrenty.

But you can't just buy this one. You have to buy the one that fits your model and processor speed.

Find a blank spot on the dash and make sure there is room behind it to allow a clock to fit there. Find a clock you like in a junkyard and cut a hole where you want to mount it. Careful cutting near any wiring.. Before installing, determine where power attaches to it and make a simple two wire harness ((3) if you need an extra to power a light. Use an in-line low amp fuse in both hot leads. Attach wire that runs the clock to any open acc port in the fuse block that is hot at all times. Attach light power to acc port that is only on with key. attach ground to metal frame of dash. Don't tap power from any fused circut...it may change operation of any control module in that circut. Make sure the new wires do not rest on any sharp metal under dash.

it could be a short in the power cord or a lose dc jack in the back. what model acer is this for as power packs for them dont cost to bad.

That spring is very important. If you remove the metal tip at the end of the charger, there is a spring on top of a fuse. The spring keeps the metal in contact with your vehicle's charger. Without that, it will not charge. Your only options are to purchase a new cord from Garmin, or charge the unit thorough the computer.
