Blank screen on my ipod nano

I just got my ipod yesterday. i downloaded two songs to it. when i went to turn it off it froze and just has a blank screen. now what?

My ipod is not started so what should i do ?

My nano had has a blank screen but it still plays music. I suggest letting it die out and then recharge it.

Ipod 5th Generation Video froze and is now dead

Try doing this: Toggle the hold switch and put it back in the off position. Then press and hold the center button and the menu button simultaneously for ten seconds and the apple symbol should come up on the screen. Then it should work like normal. Hope this helps!

press the play and pause button then on the bottom of the ipod theres a orange swich and make it turn orange...

You may reset or restore your iPod for a try, this way can fix many common iPod problems.
Or go to the iPod setting, turn off the "Enable TV out"

My iPod nano 2gb silver is showing a blank white screen.i've had it for close to a year and it freezes sometimes but that fixes itself when i drain the battery and then sinc it. but this time it just went...

Try the Five R's suggested by your user's manual - you can get the manual from Apple's website if you have lost it:
Reset, Retry, Restart, Reinstall, Restore
Remember these five basic suggestions if you have a problem with your iPod nano. If
one of the following doesn’t help, read on for solutions to specific problems.
â Reset your iPod nano. See “General Suggestions,” below.
â Retry with a different USB port if you cannot see iPod nano in iTunes.
â Restart your computer and make sure you have the latest software updates
â Reinstall iPod and iTunes software from the latest versions on the web.
â Restore your iPod nano. See “Updating and Restoring iPod Software” on page whatever.

Ipod nano froze and cant do any thing to it

Did you totally deplete the battery?
If so, you may need to plug it in to your pc to give it a recharge. It can sometimes take a while for the device to get enough power to even turn on, but give this a try first?

if there is a reset button on the back of ur nwz device bottom left on mine, poke the whole with a pin to reset, i should still have ur songs etc
