What flatscreen monitor is OK to substitute for sanpo alphascan 520?

Hi. Almost all the crt type monitors should work, it's flat screen monitors that seem to give computers problems with aspect ratios, and resolution settings.

I personally use an NEC AccuSync 70.
It might not be the newest monitor in the world, but the colors are crisp, clear, and bright.
And It allows a setting of 1024x768@85 hz refresh rate, which works great for my games.

As far as flat screens, I would probably go with an Acer, or a Dell monitor, as these two companies seem to have better quality from their monitors than most other manufacturers.

I hope this helps you out!

How do I fix my screen from being blurry? I have an AccuSync LCD 72vw with AT&T services.

Hello: Try the following:

Signal cable should be completely attached to the computer.
Use the OSM Image Adjust controls to focus and adjust display by increasing or
decreasing the FINE control. When the display mode is changed, the OSM Image
Adjust settings may need to be readjusted.
Check the monitor and your display card with respect to compatibility
and recommended signal timings.
If your text is garbled, change the video mode to non-interlace and use 60Hz refresh rate.

NEC AccuSync 120 Frequency setting

This is the maximum resolution for this monitor:
1600 x 1200 / 76 Hz

Even if you lower the resolution to the monitor, as I can see that you want to do, the maximum refresh rate is still going to be 76 Hz. If you were able to force the monitor to scan a greater field rate and its protection circuits do not shut it down, the monitor will be damaged.

Your display card is most likely limited also, unless you went out and bought a very high end card.

When using a different resolution that what the specs on the monitor indicates as its native mode, this will reduce the quality of the results displayed.

Specs for this monitor:

Jerry G.
