Operation of a Devilbiss GT5000 generator

This generator works fine but the (2) 240V receptacals are for 3 prong. Other generators I've looked at are 4 prong. Is this truly a 240V output?
Curious as the other generators have just (1) 240 while this one has (2).

Not to familiar with the generators however , I do know that the old style receptacle for 240 volts was three prong. Then OSHA got a hold of it and added a second ground to make it 4 prong, Thats why some houses use a 3 prong dryer cord and some use a 4 prong. hope this helps. and if it has 2 240v outputs BONUS they dont make em like they used to.

DeVilbiss GB5000 Type 2 Generator. The silver piece on flywheel must be broken. It won't turn over when pulling the starter cord. How do I replace it please?

Question edited for clarity 'Devilish' to DeVilbiss GB5000 Type 2 Generator.

You just unbolt the pull starter assembly from the side of the engine. There is a clutch type unit that grips the crankshaft.

Your question was worded poorly and it's difficult to understand what you are asking. As a guess, if you are looking for a 30-amp adaptor cord set, perhpas this will work:
Conntek 20601 25 Foot 10 4 30 Amp 125 250 Volt 4 Prong L14 30 Transfer...

If it's a 3-prong adaptor:
Camco 55333 30 AMP 3 Prong Generator Adapter

Or a 15 to 20 adaptor:
Coleman Cable 09020 12 3 9 Inch Generator Cord Adapter 5 15P to L5 20R

Generator 4 prong220v outlet to 3 prong 220v plug

Go to your electricians store and ask if they have a converter plug, Don't go to a Homedepot type place, go to the specialty place where electricians go. Their depth of knowledge is way better.

How can i go from a 4 prong 220v outlet generator to a 3 prong 220v plug for oversea appliances

Last time I was in europe, they were using AC current at 50 cycles. If you check the specs. on your genset I think you will find it is a 60 cycle AC generator. If I am correct, you can slow down the genset to get the 50 cycles needed but then you would need to adjust the field excitation to get the voltage back up. Then change the outlet to a european type that you should be able locate on line or through an electrical supply house.

Goodman furnace won't run on generator

I work on Goodmans and I vaguely remember something like this.Be sure the neutral (white wire) and the green ground are the same potential. They both tie into the ground bus at the generator.

I have a coleman powermate 6250 generator with a 4prong 220v female plug on the power panel. My travel trailer has a 3 prong male plug. How can I convert my generator or is there an adapter that I can...

You do not want to convert anything to a 220 v connection !!!! Your RV is 12 volt DC and 120 volt AC.
Use a 30amp female to 15 amp male adapter to plug in to regular household receptacle on generator. Available at hardware store and RV stores.
