Re: Rca 24V511T

Take123, problem is with vertical circuit not eprom, could be bad capacitor supporting the IC or the IC itself is bad, that type of problem needs a tech because once it`s fixed you will probably have to go into the service menu and re-adjust the vertical positioning, this of course will require the info in the service manual which you can`t easily obtain, questions? e-mail me back, BMW Rider

Hi. Look for cold solderjoints on the vertical output section. Most likely, the vertical final IC has bad solderings. Using a magnifier, one can see "craters" around the soldering pin/pad. Or just simply re-do all of them. Good luck;

RCA 24V511T Vertical problem

There is a problem with the vertical circuit. In many cases this is either poor solder connections or a defecitve vertical IC. If you can solder you should be able to fix this yourself. Please note that there are potentially dangerous high voltages present inside the set even when unplugged. Let me know if you wish to attempt the repair and I'll provide additional details and instructions.

TV Repair Assistance needed

FLP stands for -- Front Lock Panel - I found it in a friends RCA TV manual. It is a lock you can place on the tv front panel buttons. When this is locked you can only use the remote. So once I knew that I went to RCA Service Center and ordered a new remote.. problem solved. So since your person couldn't even understand my problem, let alone solve it. I would like a refund please.

Thank you
