Scepter monitor goes to sleep every 20 seconds!

You have a power supply going out in the monitor. You can check out some pictures on our web site at: www.ccl-la.com/badcaps.htm If you can solder then you should be able to repair your monitor. Open the back of your monitor and look for the bad capacitors( the little aluminum parts with the tops popped open as seen in the pictures). Unsolder all the ones with the bulging tops and replace them with new caps. If you have questions just email me.
