Problem for Canon PIXMA MP160 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Canon Pixma MP150 offline - won't print from computer

Printer scans and copies but won't print. Says offline. Could I have a bad USB cable? Haven't tried that yet.

- Thanks for the quick reply. Printer was online but did not print. Got "Error-Printing" in print queue. Will try a new/different USB cable. Otherwise, the printer internal interface is bad (I assume).Aug 14, 2009

- Yes, I tried reinstalling newest version of the driver - no help. One last resort is that I will try it from a different computer.Aug 22, 2009
- Fixed the problem. Had to delete the printer in Windows and add it back again. Working fine now.Best Solution

Is it showing offline on computer or on the display of printer? Try this: go to printers and Faxes in Control Panel, right click on your printer and select the option Use Printer Online. Now check, in case it is already online from there then you need to get the USB cable replaced,
