You might not have installed the driver. Install the proper driver from the site given : http://notebook.driversdown.com/notebook-drivers/s_316_1.shtml
You have corrupt system files on the hard drive which is why your getting that message.
Try to go into safe mode. If you can get into safe mode, do a system restore back to the last date that the machine was working properly.
If you can't get into safe mode then you'll need to wipe out the hard drive and restore it back to factory defaults. If you need help doing that, let me know and I'll be happy to help you further.
It could be something called an LCD inverter. Part is cheap and easy to replace. It is the chip where LCD plugs into that is the part that needs to be replaced.
