Question about Tascam 122MKIII Single Dual Cassette Deck
I am trying to adjust the azimuth on a Tascam 122MKIII Cassette Deck and I cannot figure out how to do it. I bought a really thin 00x2 1/2 philips screwdriver that still won't fit in the slot that appears to be the place to adjust the azimuth. I even started to take off the face and I still can't get to the screws.
The screws are sometimes locked with Loctite or similer and the screw slot may be blocked up also. wetting the screw head with acetone will help to allow for the blocked screw head to soften. BE CAREFUL WITH ACETONE. it will damage plastic!!

You must find a screwdriver that will fit. a jewelers tool kit may do it. you can break the screws loose without acetone,if the driver fits the screw.otherwise remove the door cover if you can, most slide upwards 2 unlock.hope this helps.
