Change the ringing mode settings in profiles ......
when there is any changes made in the settings make sure you save those settings changed .....
Imagine you have changed the settings in profiles, make sure you select on menu button and click on save option ..
By doing this the settings will be saved and you will recieve alerts or ring tone

Reinstall the software if not working fine after taking backup of data

My iphone 4 only vibrates, and does not ring on incoming calls.

The iPhone, along with many other phones, has two speakers. The first is the on ear speaker and the second is the speaker at the bottom for playing music and ringtones. The speaker at the bottom could be broken so to check this, just try and use your headphones to play music. If that doesn't work either then it must be a setting on the phone so in that case just have a bit of a play with the sound settings.

Doesn't ring or no sound coming out when I play music. But when I turn it off and turn on there is sound on the intro.

Hi, the ringer of the phone that makes you hear when someone calls or when you want to listen to music is faulty and needs to be replaced for you to be able to hear it ring when someone calls you and when you play your song.

Take care

My phone speakers do not work.

you can hear conversation and your friend can hear you = earpiece ok, microphone ok
phone not ring and not play music = buzzer broken or not connect to the main board.
check and replace if the buzzer is broken.
before you open the phone, please check the profile of your phone.
