Problem for Sony PlayStation 2 SingStar Pack Console

Have just connected 4 microphones to the singstar

Have just connected 4 microphones to the singstar on playstation 2 but sound is only coming out of two. The other two are not even registering with any sound even though the blue light on the USB converter is lit up and indicates they are connected.
Any help would be appreciated.
