Please see the detail below for the said error codes C31:23.


According to the symptom and self diagnostic system the problem is in mechanical section (tape loading section) Therefore camera just need mechanical adjustment and will work fine again. This problem aries when the insertion of the cassette is improper or forced insertion.

a loading gear may have gotten stripped. take or send it to video tech service in Sacramento. the guy there is super cool.
